BLACKJACK FOR PROFESSIONALS
CARD COUNTING STRATEGY
The basic Blackjack strategy gives the player a nearly fifty percent chance against the dealer in case of the use of several house rules. Rules specify that the dealer must draw up to 16 and he must stop at 17. As opposed to this, the player stops whenever he pleases. One must remember these rules well because card counting strategies discussed below are possible and based on these specific features.
EFFECT OF HANDS ON RESULTS BETWEEN 12-16
We are in a difficult situation when we need to make a decision on hands between 12-16. The basic idea of differentiation between hands discussed below comes from their effect on results between 12-16. Thus, we can group the composition of cards in a particular deck as follows:
| Small cards: |
2,3,4,5 |
16 |
cards |
| Middle cards: |
6,7,8,9 |
16 |
cards |
Big cards: |
T,J,Q,K |

Total: |

Small cards (2,3,4,5) result a distribution of 14-21 without bust:

Middle cards (6,7,8,9) create the distribution of results of 18-21 and busts with a 50-50% chance:
