Simulator

Profile: Here you can select from the preset settings of the simulator.

Simulation :

  • House and Players : settings of the "table": e.g. house rules, which box has an active player and what strategy and card counting the player follows. Details will follow later on.
  • Rounds : The number of rounds to be run (1 round = wager, deal, play, settlement). 100...500 million rounds are usually satisfactory.
  • No. of decks : The number of decks in the shoe. Here you can overwrite the figures defined in the house rule. The numbers can be varied from 1 to 8.
  • Infinite decks : If it is switched on: the program logically follows the set number of decks, but shuffles after every deal, as if it dealt from infinite number of decks. For example, in case of a single deck you may even have 52 identical cards, namely drawing a card does not influence the probability of the other cards of same value. You will get a ten-valued card (T) with probability of 4/13 and all other cards with 1/13. Normally this button should be switched off.
  • Burn : The number of the cards burned. The program does not count these cards, because they are not even visible in the reality. Generally its value is 0 or 1.
  • Skip : The number of the skipped but counted cards, e.g. you count cards standing beside the table and betting on the hand of somebody else in a good position. Normally this should be set to 0.
  • Cut off : the place of the cut card counted from the end of the deck, that is the number of cards cut off. If the cards are dealt until the cut card, the simulator finishes the actual round and then reshuffles. On the contrary, if the shoe is used up during the game, the simulator breaks the proceeding round and players get back their bets. In this case the round will be considered cancelled and it will not be included in the results. *

* The break of the round by using up the shoe has the following side effect in the statistics: as approaching to the last several cards of the shoe the game will be more and more gainful. This is because of the decreasing number of busts. The shoe will be used up "too early" and the round will be broken. On the other hand broken games are not included in the statistics. Example: in the case of a single deck game on one box start the shuffling with the 48 th card. This round can obviously never end with bust because after shuffling 2-2 cards the shoe will be used up. The round will be valid and included in the statistics, if both dealer and player stand. This side effect can be avoided by the right setting of cut off. You should calculate at least 3 cards for cut off per active box.
