Strategy : Selecting the strategy from the preset ones or developing a new one.

Recommended rules : Some important house rules relating to the strategy and textual remarks to the strategy. The Load button (that loads the basic strategy into the strategic tables) operates based on these settings.

Strategy type : You can set the number of strategic tables and hereby the type of strategy by the Set button:

• One table : Basic strategy without counting, i.e. the simulator follows the same strategy at every TC value. In this case you will see the No Counting words in the TC range field.
• Several tables : Professional strategy. At different TC values the strategy makes different decisions, every time according to the table corresponding to the relevant TC range. In this case you should select from the TC ranges in the TC range field the table you want to see/set.

TC dependent rules:

• Insurance : If it is switched on, the simulator takes insurance at TC values selected in the TC range field. According to the basic strategy, if it is switched on, the simulator always takes insurance.
• Init strategy : This button loads the basic strategy into the strategic tables (Hard/Soft/Pairs) based on the set Recommended rules.

Tables Hard, Soft and Pairs (Action tables) : Determination of hit, stand, double, split and surrender to the face up card of the dealer and first two cards of the player.

Setting options:

• With mouse : Click the left button of the mouse on a cell of the table, then activate the menu with the right mouse button and select the requested decision.
• With keyboard : Navigation between the cells can be done by the cursor mover buttons and you can set the value of the cell with the following keys:
• H : hit
• S : stand
• D : double/hit and double/stand
• P : split/hit and split/stand
• U : surrender/hit and surrender/stand

Cases marked by a slash can be changed by multiple push of the button.

You can select from 1, 3, 5 and 7 tables. In case of 1 table the selected strategy is the basic strategy. In case of several tables you may deviate from the basic strategy. In this case you can put different decisions to the strategic tables based on the result of the card counting (TC).

In the case on the picture you will have 5 tables. TC ranges assigned to the individual tables are the following:

to TC 6 and above: table A,
to TC 3, 4, and 5: table B,
to TC −2, −1, 0, 1 and 2: table C,
to TC −5, −4, and −3: table D,
to TC −6 and below: table E.

The TC ranges should be written in the fields downwards from the top. Max. TC value you may put in is +6. RC to TC conversion can be set in the Simulator Settings window, where you can select from the various methods.

The TC ranges set here will be transferred to the TC range field of the strategy.
